Conan and his status as hero were already a character redo Kevin Sorbo reluctance to reprise Arnold Schwarzenegger was modified because of the refusal. Screenwriter Charles Edward Pogue, a number of events that he was unhappy with the film extraordinary feeling that had ruined his script from studio interference was called on.
